Dr. A. Hoste



Dr. Hoste ( °15-1-1959) performs general ophthalmic consultations, with special interest for the medical treatment of glaucoma.

After studying medicine at the University of Ghent, she became for 2 years full-time investigator at the University of Antwerp in the Department of Human Physiology. Since 1990 she is ophthalmologist in our practice.

She continued her glaucoma research at the University of Antwerp on a part-time basis till June 2000.

She is author of various studies, published in important American journals (a list of these articles can be found on www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov, search PubMed for Hoste AM).

She has been an invited speaker at international glaucoma congresses around the world (Europe, USA, South-America and Asia).

She is staff member for the Belgian Glaucoma Society (www.belglaucoma.be).
